DISPATCHER (POLICE DEPARTMENT)

Job Requirements

Dispatcher/Communications Officer is responsible for operating radio equipment and computer terminals to receive and transmit all incoming telephone and radio calls, as well as to dispatch public safety units (Police and Fire) to routine and emergency situations.

Necessary Skills

Must be a U.S. Citizen and at least 18 years of age. Two years Clerical experience with Public Contact/Customer Service experience. Bilingual (English & Spanish) proficiency required.  High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and no felony convictions.

Salary Range

Position Is Full Time. FLSA NON-EXEMPT. Pay Rate: $13.856/Hour + Benefit
